The latest events says that A.R Rahman has not charged a single rupee for his debut Kannada flick Godfather, the remake of 2006 Tamil blockbuster Varalaaru. Previous news was that A.R Rahman has planned to hold on to the previous tunes of the Tamil version.
Now it seems that the Oscar Award Winner has decided to compose fresh tunes for this Kannada���s flick, holding only few tunes from
Varalaaru.
K Manju, the producer of
Godfather, has confirmed the news by stating, ���A.R did not charge a penny for himself. He charged roughly around a crore for recording, artists, studio, re-recording and instruments.���
