The acclaimed editor had apparently seen the movie on his editing table and is impressed with the young actress' performance, who was last seen in 'Super Deluxe'. The talented actress, who made her debut with Vijay Sethupathi's 'Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom' has acted with the Makka Selvan in six film, and '
Mamanithan
' is her seventh film with the star actor.
Sharing the happy news, Seenu Ramasamy tweeted "#Maamanithan heroine @SGayathrie she got first appreciation from my genius editor @sreekar_prasad on his editing table. we are waiting to see her applauded day for our movie". (sic)
The rest of the star cast for the film includes KPAC Lalitha, Guru Somasundaram, Shaji Chen and Jewel Mary. Music for the film is by Ilaiyaraaja, Karthik Raja and Yuvan Shankar Raja.
