While talking to Film Companion South, Gautham revealed how it felt to cancel the release of his much-awaited film at the last moment. GVM called it heartbreaking. The filmmaker turned actor had restlessness in his behavior which affected his family too. “My wife, who was never worried about my side of work, made it a point to be with me for 20-25 days because she could see that there was something really not right with me,” Gautham added.

He felt hollow and constantly sinking. Even though he wanted to travel and write at first, he ended up stuck dealing with the fallout of the movie not being released. He said that when the movie didn't come out in theaters as it was supposed to, it created more problems for him because he had to answer to new investors. Gautham is investing hope in his new film ‘Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha’ which will hit theaters soon.

‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ was about to release on November 24, but the filmmaker was given a court order the day before, which required him to pay 2.40 crores by 10:30 in the morning to ensure the movie could be released smoothly. The action-packed movie features Chiyaan Vikram in the lead role while Vinayakan, Ritu Varma, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Simran, Maya S Krishnan, and Parthiban play supporting roles. The music for the movie was composed by Harris Jayaraj.
