Actor Gautham Karthik, who began his career with the Mani Ratnam directorial 'Kadal' in 2013, has completed 10 years the film industry. The film, which also marked the debut of Thulasi, hit the screens on 31st January, 2013. With the film completing ten years and along with it Gautham Karthik as well, the young actor has penned an emotional thank you note to all the fans and audience.
Gautham Karthik released a thank you note for completing a decade in the film industry. In the note, Gautham Karthik wrote, "It's been 10 years now since the release of my first film, Kadal, and what an adventure it's been! I would firstly like to say thank you to Mani sir for trusting me and giving me this beautiful opportunity. I would also like to say a huge thank you to the Producers, Director, Technicians and Actors, who I've had the privilege of working with, for believing in me."
"I would like to express my whole-hearted gratitude to my family, friends, well wishers and fans, without whom I wouldn't be here today. It's been exciting, elevating, terrifying, challenging, wonderful and enlightening. But more than all this, it's been an amazingly humbling journey," he added.
He further added, "I'm so grateful than you all have given me this opportunity to stand in front of you as an actor and entertain you, I'm so grateful for the continued love and support showed towards my work,. You have stood by me through all my ups, all my downs, all my mistakes and all my success. If there's one thing I know, it's that I am absolutely nothing without you all!"
"Whatever I have learned these past 10 years, through all my successes and failures, big and small, I shall use it to be best of my abilities to continue to perform and entertain you all. You deserve the best from me and I shall strive to give you all my best no matter what my come. Thank you all for standing by me and believing in me these past 10 years. I am truly blessed to have you all in my life I thank you all once again," concluded Gautham Karthik.
Meanwhile on the work front, Gautham Karthik will next be seen in Silambarasan TR’s 'Pathu Thala' and '16 August 1947'. He is currently shooting for an intense crime thriller titled 'Criminal' directed by Dhakshina Moorthy Ramar and also starring Sarath Kumar.
