Gautham Karthik-Cheran’s Anandham Vilayadum Veedu celebrates family bonding: Borra Bhalabharani

The cinematographer reveals 50 per cent of the film is done

. Talking about his experience of working on the film, directed by Nanda Periyasamy, he says, “It’s a film that’s special and close to my heart as it is shot completely in Dindugal, where I grew up. Nanda and I have been discussing and shaping the script for nearly three years. We were keen on completing the entire project in 50 days. With an ensemble cast of 40 actors, Nanda is doing a commendable job of proceeding with the shoot at the right momentum. We have now completed 50% of the shooting and the entire team is happy with the visual output as we are editing the completed scenes here itself.”

He continues, “It’s an emotional movie that delves into the bond shared between parents, children, and siblings; it celebrates the value of family bonding.”

Borra Bhalabharani has assisted DOP MS Prabhu in films like Mahanadhi and Ramana. He has recently handled the cinematography for the Malayalam film Cabin. Among the Tamil films he’s been part of include Miga Miga Avasaram, Maayandi Kudumbathar, Vedigundu Murugesan and Goripaalayam.

Written and directed by Nanda Periyasamy, Anandham Vilayadum Veedu is produced by P Ranganathan, and stars Shivathmika, Saravanan, Motta Rajendran, Venba, Daniel Balaji, Vignesh, Singam Puli, Kumki Jommalloori, Snegan, Namo Narayanan, Soundarajan, Mounicka, Maina, Sujatha, Priyanka and Nakkalite Dhanam, among others, in important roles.
