Last week, music director turned actor Vijay Antony, had begun shooting for his next film titled 'Romeo' in Malaysia. Directed by Vinayak Vaithianathan, the romantic entertainer has Mirnalini Ravi playing the female lead opposite Vijay Antony. The latest is that the team has wrapped up the Malaysia schedule of shooting in quick time.

The will be shooting in Bangkok, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Tenkasi, and Mahabalipuram for the film. The romantic entertainer, which is being planned for release in the summer of 2024 also had VTV Ganesh, Thalaivasal Vijay, Ilavarasu, Sudha and Sreeja Ravi feature in key roles. The Telugu version of the film has been titled 'Love Guru'.
'Romeo' is written and directed by debutant Vinayak Vaithianathan, who is known for helming the popular YouTube series 'Kadhal Distancing'.
