Farhan follows Rancho; Madhavan tests positive for COVID-19

A day after Aamir Khan's spokesperson revealed that the actor had tested positive for COVID-19, actor R Madhavan took to his social media to 'hilariously' announce that he, too, contracted the virus. In his post, he mentioned that Farhan (the character played by Madhavan in 3 Idiots) has to follow Rancho (played by Aamir), and that Virus has always been after them (referring to Boman Irani's character Virus), but this time, he caught up.
His tweet read, "Farhan HAS to follow Rancho and Virus has always been after us BUT this time he bloody caught up. BUT-ALL IS WELL and the Covid will be in the Well soon. Though this is one place we don't want Raju in." (sic) He even put out a still from Rajkumar Hirani's film, cropping Sharman Joshi out! All the three actors played best friends in this interesting,coming-of-age comedy drama.

Madhavan is at home, in self-quarantine, following all the necessary protocols. He even mentioned in his tweet that he is recuperating well and thanked people for all the love. This light-hearted announcement is a win from his fans and they all wished him a speedy recovery. With many sweet messages coming his way, the actor even retweeted some of those messages and thanked people for their kind words.
