Fans want legendary combo back after their pics go viral

Bharathirajaa

were inseperable friends in the 70s and 80s and entered the film industry almost around the same time. Their combo delivered indelible chartbusters in film after film, starting with 16 Vayathinile.

However, they had a fallout and after Nadodi Thendral, in 1992, Bharathirajaa hasn't worked with the maestro ever since. While they managed to sort their differences over the years and have patched up, they are yet to get together and work on a film.

Today, Bharathirajaa posted a few

of him along with the maestro, which were taken inside a car on his social media page. "After long back year.. two heart merging in

," he tweeted.




Not surprisingly, the pics immediately went viral, and fans of both these legends started voicing out that they should soon work together on a film.

A source close to Ilaiyaraaja told us, "Ilaiyaraaja and Bharathirajaa are in Theni now, though I cannot say if they are collaborating on a film."
