Fahadh Faasil imitates Rajinikanth from 'Muthu' in an unseen video from 'Vettaiyan'- WATCH

Rajinikanth's starrer ‘Vettaiyan’ is running successfully in theatres ever since its release on October 10. Fans and viewers have been vocal about the dynamic combination of Fahadh Faasil’s Patrick and Rajinikanth’s Athiyan in the movie. Ever since the duo started gaining recognition, the makers have taken to their Twitter handle to share some deleted and unseen videos of the pair from the film.

The recent unseen video shared by the makers of ‘Vettaiyan’ features Fahadh enacting a scene from the Superstar’s hit movie, ‘Muthu’.

In the video, Fahadh’s Patrick and Ritika Singh’s Roopa are seen having a conversation, with Fahadh delivering a dialogue in a Rajinikanth style with short breaths. The superstar's flawless dialogue delivery in his 1995 film ‘Muthu’ is one of the most celebrated aspects of Kollywood, and Fahadh’s imitation has won over the internet. Many fans questioned why the scene was removed from the film, while others believed these scenes could have helped establish their characters' on-screen camaraderie more effectively.

Earlier, the makers dropped a video featuring Fahadh Faasil and Rajinikanth, where they engage in playful banter with each other. The deleted scene attracted a lot of attention from their fans. Prior to the release of ‘Vettaiyan’, Rajinikanth expressed his admiration for Fahadh’s effortless acting skills and praised him for handling a comedic character with quirkiness.

‘Vettaiyan’ has now secured its place as the second highest-grossing Tamil film of the year, according to reports. The movie also features Amitabh Bachchan, Manju Warrier, and Rana Daggubati in key roles, with Anirudh Ravichander serving as the music director.
