Editor Don Bosco, who has worked in several films, including Sundarapandian, Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal and Nayyapudai had turned director recently. And now, he’s all excited about taking on another new role — that of an actor. Yes, Don has played a crucial role in the upcoming film Uttaravu Maharaja, which has Udhaya and Prabhu playing the lead.
Don says, “The director of the movie, Asif Kuraishi, is a close friend of mine.
He asked me to play an important role in the film; my character has a big part to play in taking the story ahead and shaping the climax. I play brother to one of the three heroines in it, and my role has a lot to do with the emotion of ‘revenge’. I underwent a drastic makeover to play this character.”
He adds, “I’ve edited about 80 per cent of the movie, after which I got busy with my directorial project.”
Kovai Sarala, Nasser, Manobala, MS Bhaskar and Sriman are some of the other artistes in Uttaravu Maharaja, which has music by Naren Balakumar and cinematography by Balaji Ranga.
