Dushara Vijayan reveals that Dhanush once said that he was jealous of her!

Actress Dushara Vijayan who was last seen in 'Raayan', directed by Dhanush, is now gearing up for the release of 'Vettaiyan' which will be out in theatres on October 10. Directed by TJ Gnanavel, the movie stars Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan, Ritika Singh, Rakshan and Abhirami.

Actress Dushara in a recent talk with Galatta revealed that when she was shooting for 'Raayan' with Dhanush, the actor asked if she knew about Rajinikanth and then she revealed that she is acting with the superstar for her next. Dhanush told her that he is jealous of her because of the only reason that she gets to share the screen space with Rajinikanth. Dhanush is a huge fan of Rajinikanth and his relationship with the superstar actor went bad after he separated from his wife Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth.

Dhanush earlier had always expressed his desire to work with Rajinikanth and even director Venkat Prabhu mentioned that he had initially written 'GOAT' keeping in mind Rajinikanth and Dhanush for his lead role as a father and son. However, the project did not go ahead with the two stars.

Meanwhile on the work front, Rajinikanth after 'Vettaiyan' has signed up for his next with Lokesh Kanagaraj titled 'Coolie' and Dushara Vijayan has 'Veera Dheera Sooran' with Vikram which is helmed by SU Arun Kumar.
