Durai gets STR and Vijay Antony for his films

Even as he’s gearing up to release his Sundar-C-starrer Iruttu, VZ Durai has committed to two films next. The Mugavari director will be working with both Simbu (STR) and Vijay Antony in two different films, which will go on floors by the end of this year.
A source says, “There have been speculations of Durai approaching Vijay Sethupathi for a film, but the filmmaker has finalised his next two projects with Vijay Antony and Simbu respectively.He recently met Vijay Antony for a narration and the two are now discussing the finer details of the film. Meanwhile, Durai will simultaneously start work on a film with Simbu. There were rumours earlier that they would team up for a sequel to their last film, Thotti Jaya, but this one is a different project, in a genre that the two of them haven’t done before. The plan is to start shooting at least one of these films by the year-end, and work on the two in alternate schedules.”
