Actor Vijay Sethupathi who has been giving hits after hits, is ready for a double dhamaka early this year. The actor's two films, 'Rummy' and 'Pannaiyaurum Padminiyum' are set to hit the screens in quick succession. Vijay Sethupathi will have back to back releases of the 'Rummy' on January 31 and 'Pannaiyaurum Padminiyum' on Fenruary 7. '
Rummy' is said to be a romantic comedy in a village backdrop starring Vijay Sethupathi, Gayathri and Inigo Prabhakaran.
The film takes place between the years 1987 and 1990, a time when private colleges weren't a craze as they are today. The heroes, who hail from different villages, meet in a government college and become thick friends. The movie is about their friendship and romances and will have humour and action as well.
Pannaiyarum Padminiyum directed by Arun Kumar of 'Nalaiya Iyakkunar', is about the pannaiyar's love for his vintage car Premier Padmini. Starring Vijay Sethupathi and Jayaprakash in the lead, along with Ishwarya and Sneha, Justin Prabhakaran debuts as music director.
