Double delight for Sarkunam

Director Sarkunam, who made the much-lauded Kalavani, could not have asked for a better timing.
For, he has two reasons to celebrate in the next 10 days. First, the director is getting married on September 15 and then, his next film, Vaagai Sooda Vaa, is all set for release on September 23.
The director is currently in his native Tanjore for the wedding.He will be marrying Saranya, a MBA graduate. The wedding is to take place in Thethaadikollai, a village in Tanjore district. While it is customary for K-Town celebs to marry in their native and hold a reception in Chennai, Sarkunam says that he has got no plans to hold a reception in the city.
On the filmi front, his Vaagai Sooda Vaa has already raised expectations with its music by newcomer Ghibran and the rich-looking trailers. The film, which is set in the mid-60s, stars Vimal and debutant Iniya in the lead roles while K Bhagyaraj plays a crucial role as Vimal���������s dad.
