Ravi Varman today set the internet on fire after he shared a throwback picture of
Thala Ajith
. The DOP revealed a picture of Ajith in which Thala is seen with the ace cinematographer and the late actor Murali. However, he didn't reveal any detail of where the picture was shot. Varman captioned the picture, "*GoLdEn AgE*. #throwback #art #magic #photooftheday.
Cinematographer Ravi Varman had earlier revealed that while he was supposed to do the cinematography for Ajith's
Vaali
, he couldn't do it since there were issues with FEFSI. Varman, who had initially shot for some scenes, had to eventually drop out of the film. However, the film’s director
SJ Suryah
, who saw the pictures that had been shot earlier, liked them and also went on to praise the cinematographer.
Ravi Varman had stated that people had called him and warned him not to work in the film. In the meantime, Varman added that Thala Ajith had called him and said that he shouldn’t be afraid of anyone. It was Ajith’s speech that brought him back on track, he had revealed. Varman was credited as guest cinematographer in the film and the cinematography was eventually done by the late Jeeva. Ravi Varman went on to work in a number of languages.
