Divya Spandana files nomination for by-election
Divya Spandana aka Ramya known for her hit films Polladhavan and Vaaranam Aayiram in Tamil, is a name to reckon with in Kannada films. The pretty actress, who is all set to contest in the Lok Sabha by-poll, filed her nomination papers to contest from Mandya Parliamentary constituency. She filed her nomination papers on Saturday afternoon, minutes before the deadline ended.

The Congress leadership has fielded famed Kannada film star and Youth Congress member for Mandya Lok Sabha by-election. Though, it is the first electoral battle for Ramya, her body language was confident. Dressed in a cream and white salwar kameez, Ramya went around the premises of Deputy Commissioner's Office after filing papers and shook hands with the hundreds of fans.
