Director Venkat Prabhu turns producer for 'Nanban Oruvan Vandha Piragu'

Director Venkat Prabhu took to social media on July 30 to announce that he will be producing the directorial debut of actor Ananth, who gained his fame through 'Meesaya Murukku'. The film is written, directed, and performed by Ananth and is titled 'Nanban Oruvan Vandha Piragu' (NOVP). The movie features Ananth, Bhavani Sre, RJ Vijay, and Monica in the lead roles.


Taking to social media, Venkat Prabhu asked what his next project would be called, and fans were excited, hoping it would be an update about 'Thalapathy 68'. However, not yielding to the fans' desire, the director announced his next project as a producer. 'NOVP' is a friendship drama, and it is described as 'Venkat Prabhu's Gift'.

'Nanban Oruvan Vandha Piragu' is touted to be a coming-of-age drama about a group of youngsters who are friends. The music for the movie is composed by AH Kaashif.
