Director Susi Ganesan has also announced the mega-budget film on Rani Velu Nachiyar quoting Narendra Modi's tweet. He has also assured that the film will express the greatness of Velu Nachiyar who was the first queen to fight and win against the British army in Indian history.
But the cast and crew of the film are not yet announced, and the film is expected to be a multi-lingual release. Rani Velu Nachiyar was the queen of the Sivagangai estate during 1780–1790, and she was the first Indian queen to wage war with the East India Company in India.
Meanwhile, Susi Ganesan has finished the work for the Hindi remake of his own Tamil film 'Thiruttu Payale 2', and the shooting of his new film will begin once this film is released.
