Director and actor Sasikumar was last seen in the
Karthik Subbaraj directorial 'Petta'. The actor had recently started shooting for his next action thriller directed by NV Nirmal Kumar, who made his debut in Tamil with
Vijay Antony starrer 'Salim' and had also directed the yet-to-be released Arvind Swami, Trisha starrer 'Sathuranga Vettai 2'.
This movie is being shot in Mumbai and also has senior actor Sarathkumar as a part of the cast. The latest update is that the film has been tentatively titled as ‘Naana’. An official announcement on the title is expected soon. Reportedly, Sasikumar plays a police officer in the movie.
Produced by PK Ram Mohan of Kalpataru Pictures, Ganesh Chandra has been roped in to crank the camera and Anand Mani will take care of the production design. The female lead and the rest of the cast and crew will be confirmed once the first schedule begins.
Meanwhile, Sasikumar also has few movies like 'Kombu Vatcha Singamda', 'Kennedy Club' and 'Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta', Nadodigal 2 and Raja Vamsam which are in the pipeline.
