In an interview to an online media, Sargunam has said that Karthik Netha had written the dummy lyrics of the song which was later rewritten by the renowned lyricist Vairamuthu himself. Siting another song 'Poraney Poraney' from the same film which was written by Karthik Netha, the director reveals that the dummy lyrics for the song written by music director Ghibran, his friend Sai and the singer Ranjith. After the full song was rewritten by Karthik Netha, the director and the music director had apparently decided to keep a certain line from the dummy lyrics for a portion, which they felt were nice.
