Rambhala is directing
Shiva and
Nikki Galrani for the upcoming film '
Idiot
', and the makers earlier released an impressive trailer. In an exclusive chat with ETimes, Rambhala shared the latest updates of his next film 'Idiot'.
"Shiva is a casual actor like Hollywood stars, and it will take time for us to realize whether he is acting or not. Nikki Galrani is a dedicated actress. She always arrives a few minutes or hours prior to the shoot. She has been so cooperative and reacts according to the situation when there is a delay while filming. I can certify her as a dedicated actress," Rambhala said, speaking about his lead actors.
Speaking about the success of the 'Idiot' trailer, Rambhala said, “I have good stuff to increase the buzz for the film through trailer or teaser. But it's necessary for a film teaser or trailer to have more audience to make an impact. So, I decided to spoof Kamal Hassan's 'Vikram' teaser, which was a good hit at that time, and Nikki Galrani, who imitated
Kamal Hassan in the trailer, didn't know the reality while shooting for the scene. Later, she was worried that she might get trolled."
When asked about the 'Idiot' release date, Rambhala divulged, "Idiot is a film that should be watched in the theatres. Watching a comedy-drama in theatres can bring you more joy and happiness. You will lose the experience if watched on television screens or mobile phones because it is easy to get distracted.”
The post-production work of the film is going steadily, and the makers are eying to release the film by mid-August.
