Director Muthaiya to launch his son

Filmmaker Muthaiya, who has helmed films like Viruman and Marudhu, will be launching his son Vijay Muthaiya as an actor in a yet-to-be-titled project. The film features newcomer Dharshini and Iravin Nizhal fame Brigida Saga as the female leads, and will be directed by Muthaiya himself. The shooting for the film commenced a few days ago. Muthaiya tells us, “I have directed eight films so far and all of them were rural subjects, but this will be an urban film set in Madurai.”
