Innasi Pandian made his directorial debut with 'Diary' starring Arulnithi in the lead role, and the 2022 Tamil release turned into a huge hit. The horror drama had a theatrical run of over 50 days, and it was a great film to start off the cinema journey for Innasi Pandian. Director Innasi Pandian has now signed his second film as a director, and the film's official announcement was made this morning. The emerging director has opened up about the film in an exclusive chat with ETimes and shared some interesting insights about the film.
Talking about how he got an idea for the film and how he developed the idea further, Innasi shares, "I got this storyline from a newspaper headline. Though we read that regularly, no one had dared touch that area. Therefore, I picked up the news and started developing the past 4 years of that story. I used my imagination to the fullest of my capacity so that I could give an effective theatrical experience to our audience. After completing the writing part of the film, I approached producer Ganesh Murthy sir and he was impressed with the script."
The director also revealed that the shooting of the film is planned to commence in August.
Innasi Pandian also admitted that 'Dairy' is a very important film of my career. "It's going to be a very important film in my career. I assure the audience that they will have a fantastic theatrical experience! The film has lots of interesting actors, and the cast and crew details will be revealed in the coming weeks," the director concludes the conversation.
