Director Gopi Nainar starts his next film with Jai

Director Gopi Nainar who made a very impressive debut with Nayanthara's Aramm, has officially begun his second directorial venture, which has actor Jai in the lead. Comedy actor Daniel Annie Pope, who has become popular with his recent stint in the popular television reality show 'Bigg Boss', plays an important role in the film.
Sharing a picture with Jai on his social networking page, Daniel posted, "Happy to share this , my next movie will be with my hero @actor_jai again. Direction by #aram fame #gopinainar shoot started from yesterday . Need your blessing spl thanks to @actor_jai Anney for sharing screen space."

Interestingly, the script of the film is reported to be initially narrated to Arya but due to various reasons, Arya opted out of the project. Touted be based on the boxing culture in North Chennai, more details regarding the rest of the cast and crew are yet to be known.
Meanwhile, Gopi is also having plans to start shooting for Aramm 2 with Nayanthara in 2019.
