' that hit screens on this day in 1990, looks like director
Cheran, reminisces his debut as an assistant director with KS Ravikumar in the film.
Produced by Super Good FIlms, 'Puriyada Pudir' had Rahman, Raghuvaran, Sarath Kumar, Anand Babu, Rekha and Sithara in the lead roles with SA Rajkumar composing the music for the film. Taking to his social networking page on the occasion of 30 years of the film, director Cheran said, "First film for director KS Ravikumar, which is also my first film as an assistant director. I learned what hard work in my first film itself. The film was wrapped up in just 28 days."
"Director Cheran added that the popular production house in the 90s, Super Good Films is an unforgettable place in his life and that it is a place were a lot of directors we born. Super Good Films has been a like mother's home for all of us. I worked in a lot of movies in that company."
Revealing an interesting trivia, Cheran revealed that he has appreared in one of the scenes in 'Puriyada Pudir'. He also wished director KS Ravikumar for completing 30 years in the film industry as a director and assured that acclaimed director will deliver more hit films.
