Director Chellamuthu: Reality bytes

Director Chellamuthu is gearing up to release his debut flick Soorya Nagaram, starring Rahul (of Moscowin Kaveri fame) and Meera Nandhaa in the lead, in the third week of February.
He says, ���The film is based on a real life incident. During Kalaignar���s period, several prisoners, who serving lifetime, were released. The film is about one of them.We had earlier called our film Thoonga Nagaram. Since the title was already registered, we changed ours to Soorya Nagaram, another name for Madurai!���
