Director Balaji Mohan announces his next project as producer

Director Balaji Mohan made his debut in the Tamil cinema with the movie ‘Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi’ featuring Siddharth and Amala Paul in the lead roles. It was a successful hit. Following that he directed Dhanush’s ‘Maari’ and ‘Maari 2’.
He then ventured as a producer with the movie ‘Mandela’. Now, the director through his twitter handle has made an official announcement that he will be co-producing a web series next.This is the first time that he will be co-producing a web series and it will be released on Allu Arjun’s OTT platform which will be making its launch in Tamil at the end of this month.

Balaji Mohan will co-produce the series under the banner Open Window. The series will feature Prasanna, SPB Charan, Dhanya Balakrishna, Kaniha, Suresh Chakravarthy in lead roles. The yet to be titled series is directed by debutant Vignesh Vijayakumar, an associate of Balaji Mohan.
The shooting for the web series has commenced and is in full swing. It is expected that the filming will be completed in February. Meanwhile, Balaji Mohan last directed a segment in the anthology film ‘Putham Puthu Kaalai Vidiyaadhaa…’ and the segment was titled ‘Mugakavasa Mutham’ that featured Teejay Arunasalam and Gouri G Kishan.
