Documentary filmmaker Arun Mozhi passed away on Sunday while attending a film festival. The 49 year old filmmaker suffered a cardiac arrest after a film’s screening at the Japanese Film Festival in Chennai.

Documentary filmmaker Arun Mozhi passed away on Sunday while attending a film festival. The 49 year old filmmaker suffered a cardiac arrest after a film’s screening at the Japanese Film Festival in Chennai. Yesterday, director Vasanth, Lenin Bharathi, and Hariharan paid their last respects to the multi-talented Arun Mozhi at his residence in Thiruvanmiyur.
Mysskin, who is currently working in London for ‘Thupparivalan 2’, shared an emotional video on social media remembering his dear friend.

In the video, Mysskin opened up about the director and the role he played in his life.
Apart from being a director, Arun Mozhi was also a social activist filmmaker. He had made various documentaries on social issues like 'Nila Mosadi', 'Isai Vanavil In Ondru', 'Moondravadhu Inam and 'Beware of Commissions' to name a few.
