Director Ameer turns hero

Director Ameer, who was last seen onscreen in a song in Mysskin���s Yuddham Sei, will turn hero for director Karu Pazhaniappan���s next.
Ameer confirms, ���Rajkiran and I play the lead in Pazhaniappan���s next venture. He will be making an official announcement soon, and only after that can I speak on the project. But yes, all I can reveal now is that both Rajkiran and I play villagers in this film.���
Interestingly, Ameer played the lead in his associate, Subramania Siva���s Yogi. And Pazhaniappan (of Pirivom Sandhippom fame) donned the greasepaint in his last venture, Mandhira Punnagai.
Initially, Ameer had plans of starting work on his next, tentatively titled Jihaad, after he completes Aadhi Bhagavan. Quiz him if acting in another director���s film will upset his plans, and he shoots back, ���I will wrap up Aadhi Bhagavan in the next 15 day. I didn���t want to miss out on Pazhaniappan���s film because he is a good director and knows how to treat even the most sensitive script. Since Jihaad is my own story I can film it whenever I want. There���s no way Pazhaniappan���s film will upset my plans.���
