The shooting of
Pa Ranjith
's next production venture after the acclaimed 'Pariyerum Perumal' has started today. The film titled '
Irandaam Ulaga Porin Kadaisi Gundu
' (
IUPKG
) starring Attakathi
Dinesh in the lead role is directed by Athiyan Athirai, a debutant and a former assistant of Ranjith.
The protagonist, played by Dinesh, is a lorry driver, and he meets various kinds of people during his journey. How this journey helps him forms the plot. Anakha and Riythvika (of Bigg Boss Tamil fame) will be seen as the female leads in film, which also has Munishkanth, Ramesh Thilak, Lijeesh and Marimuthu in its cast. Tenma of the Casteless Collective band will be making his debut as a composer while Kishore Kumar, another first-timer, who worked as an assistant cinematographer on Madras, Kabali and Kaala, will handle the cinematography. The film will be shot in Chennai, Pondicherry, Vilupuram and Panruti.
