After the action drama Kuthoosi, actor
Dilipan
has signed on to play the lead in
Yukam
, which, he calls “a romantic thriller that has got a lot of twists and turns”. The film will see him share screen space with
Srushti Dange and
Thaman Kumar, who has played the lead in films like Sattam Oru Iruttarai and Nethra.
“Thaman plays a policeman while Srushti Dange plays my love interest,” reveals Dilipan. But he adds that he cannot talk about his role in the film because it is supposed to be a mystery. “It has grey shades, so the audience will be kept guessing as to whether he is a good guy or a bad one till the end,” he adds.
The film will be directed by Sree Mani, who has directed a film titled Kanmani with Manasvi, the girl who played Nayanthara’s daughter in Imaikkaa Nodigal. The puja of the film and a photo shoot were done recently, and the team will be starting shoot by next week, says Dilipan, who adds that he is also in talks to star in another film.
