'Dhurandhar: The Revenge,' starring
Ranveer Singh, has finally hit theaters and is already performing strongly at the box office. The film has even set a new record on ticketing platforms, crossing the hourly trends of 'Pushpa 2: The Rule.' The Hindi version has now been released to great success, but Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada audiences have been left disappointed. Several shows were suddenly cancelled, and fans who had booked tickets were forced to wait for updates.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge Movie ReviewCensorship delays for southern versions cause show cancellations
As per NDTV, the main reason for this issue is the delay in censor certification for the dubbed versions, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. The makers had planned to release all versions together. However, the censor process took longer than expected for the regional languages. Because of this, theaters could not screen these versions on time. Even the morning shows that were expected to begin did not happen. This delay created confusion among fans, and many theaters had to cancel bookings and refund tickets.
All regional versions to begin screening soon
Fortunately, the censor certificates for all regional releases, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, have been issued. With this approval, theaters are preparing to screen the film very soon. Reports suggest that shows may begin from the second half of the day or from the next day. The digital content is also being delivered to theaters, which means the delay is finally coming to an end. Fans from several states are now looking forward to watching the movie in theaters.
High expectations among South fans despite the delay
The postponement of 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' will not affect the enthusiasm for the film in any way in all the southern territories. This film is directed by Aditya Dhar and has an impressive star cast, including R. Madhavan,
Sanjay Dutt, and Arjun Rampal. There will certainly be big numbers after the consequential release in the regional languages. Even though it is being released fairly late, it is believed that the film will receive a good opening in all the territories, as speculated by trade analysts.
