Dhruv Vikram will team up director Mari Selvaraj. While the shooting of the film was expected to begun much earlier, the latest is that the film will will kick off once director Mari Selvaraj completes the post production work of his upcoming film 'Maamannan' with Udhayanidhi Stalin. Buzz is that the film will begin early next year.
The film is said to be a sports biopic based on the life of a Kabbadi player.
Dhruv will be seen starring in this true life story of a sports man who clawed his way from the rural hinterland of Tamil Nadu to finally winning the nation's highest sports honour and winning gold for his country at the Asian Games. Dhruv Vikram is expected to start training for this intense sports drama soon.
Produced by director Pa Ranjith's Neelam Productions, the film will be Dhruv Vikram's third film after 'Adithya Varma' and 'Chiyaan 60'. The rest of the cast and crew is expected to be announced when project is set to go on floors.
