Dhanush’s father Kasthuri Raja REACTS to Nayanthara's allegations against his son: 'We are moving forward'

Actor Dhanush’s father, filmmaker Kasthuri Raja, has finally broken his silence on the ongoing issue between Nayanthara and his son Dhanush. He reacted to the ‘Bigil’ actress' open letter addressed to Dhanush regarding the delay of her Netflix documentary 'Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairy Tale'.

Kasthuri Raja told Tamil Samayam that they (he and his son) do not have time to respond to everyone who is chasing them, as they are more focused on their work. “Work is important to us. We are moving forward. We don’t have time to answer those who chase us or talk behind our backs. Much like me, my son is focused only on his work.”



When asked about Nayanthara’s claims regarding Dhanush asking for Rs 10 crore and delaying the release of her documentary for two years, Kasthuri mentioned that he does not want to comment on it.

Last week, Nayanthara posted an open letter on her Instagram addressing Dhanush. She revealed that Dhanush had asked her to remove a BTS clip from 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan', which they used in the trailer of her Netflix documentary 'Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairy Tale' two years ago. She also mentioned that failing to remove the clip and song would result in them having to pay Rs 10 crore to the actor.

Dhanush’s team wrote, “The behind-the-scenes footage belongs to my client as the producer of the film.”
