Dhanush's 'Anegan' makes 30 crores

Despite threats of the Cricket World Cup matches which started on Feb 14, Dhanush starrer 'Anegan' directed by KV Anand has collected Rs. 30 crores at the box office in opening weekend. The film has Amyra making her debut opposite Dhanush with Harris Jayaraj scoring the music. The film opened to positive response and has been running houseful shows. The number of screen counts for this Dhanush starrer has been increased to meet the demand.
The romantic drama hit the screens for Valentine's Day in February. While veteran actor Karthik appears in a pivotal role, the cast also includes Atul Kulkarni, Ashish Vidyarthi, Mukesh Tiwari, Thalaivasal Vijay and Aishwarya Devan. Looks like the director is continuing his impressive track record after films like 'Ko' and 'Ayan'.
