Actor Dhanush has officially concluded shooting for his much-anticipated film 'Tere Ishk Mein', directed by Aanand L Rai and co-starring Kriti Sanon. The actor took to social media to share the update in an impactful still from the film.Dhanush posted a picture of two blood-soaked hands clutching each other, paired with a simple yet evocative caption: "And it's a wrap."'Tere Ishk Mein' is being touted as a spiritual successor to the 2013 cult love story 'Raanjhanaa', which starred Dhanush as the unforgettable Kundan opposite Sonam Kapoor as Zoya. While the earlier film explored the heartbreak and recklessness of unrequited love, the sequel is speculated to revolve around the themes of longing, emotional turmoil, and destiny-bound passion.
Reuniting the Raanjhanaa trio of Aanand L Rai, Dhanush, and Oscar-winning music composer A.R. Rahman, Tere Ishk Mein has been a project with high expectations from the start. The film's teaser stirred curiosity. It features a haunting scene of Dhanush’s character setting a wall on fire. A voiceover says, "Pichli baar to Kundan tha, maan gaya, par iss bar Shankar ko kaise rokoge?" (Last time it was Kundan, he accepted it, but how will you stop Shankar this time?).
This suggests a darker and more intense character arc for Dhanush in this film.
