Dhanush too hopes Jagame Thandiram's release in theatres

Actor Dhanush-starrer 'Jagame Thandhiram' directed by Karthik Subbaraj but there seems to be lot of confusion regarding the film's release. The action thriller, which has Dhanush in the lead role also has Hollywood actor James Cosmo, Aiswarya Lekshmi and Joju George in the lead.

While there had been speculation that the film might release directly on a popular OTT platform initally, both the makers and Dhanush assured fans that the film will release only in theatres. But, over the last few days, there have been reports that the film is being planned for an OTT release.

While the fans are eagerly awaiting an official clarification on the film's release, actor Dhanush himself seems to be in the dark and has expressed that just like his fans, theatre owners, exhibitors and distributos, he too is hoping that '

' releases in theatres.

Dhanush posted, "I am hoping for the theatrical release of Jagame Thandiram like the theatre owners, exhibitors, distributors, cinema lovers and most of all my fans. Fingers crossed." (sic)



The film starring Dhanush and Aishwarya Lekshmi in the lead was earlier planned to hit the screens on May 1, 2020 but got postponed due to the lockdown due to COVID-19 pandemic situation.
