Dhanush to start shooting for 'Vaathi' next week

Dhanush’s upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual movie titled ‘Vaathi’ will reportedly go on grounds from January 2022. According to reports, Dhanush is all set for the shooting of ‘Vaathi’ from next week in Hyderabad. Alongside Dhanush, Samyuktha Meonon has been roped to play the female lead for the movie.Titled as ‘Sir’ in Telugu and ‘Vaathi’ in Tamil, the film is produced by Sithara Entertainment and the movie is directed by Venky Atluri. The music for the movie is composed by GV Prakash. Dinesh Krishnan and Navin Nooli have been reportedly roped in as cinematographer and editor for the film.‘Vaathi’ will also be marking Dhanush’s debut in Telugu film industry. Just a couple of days ago, the movie makers had released a video of the title teaser. The movie is touted to be an action drama and it portrays the ambitious journey of a common man. As the name suggests ‘Vaathi’, Dhanush will be playing as a professor in the film.
