Devayani and Nakkhul’s mother passes away

Actress Devayani and Nakkhul’s mother Lakshmi Jaidev passed away on Sunday. We hear that Lakshmi Jaidev had been unwell in the recent times and was admitted to a private hospital due to age related issues. It is said that it was Lakshmi Jaidev, who was a great pillar of support to both Devayani and Nakkhul when they made their respective film debuts.
While Devayani was one of the most polar actresses in the ‘90s with many hits under her belt like Kaadhal Kottai, Suryavamsam, Ninaithen Vandhai, Nee Varuvai Ena, Thenali, Friends, Panchathanthiram and Azhagi to name a few.Nakkhul shot to fame with Boys and Kaadhalil Vizhundhean. He featured in the super hit song Nakka Mukka. Their father Jaidev had passed away earlier last year.
