'Demonte Colony 2' OTT release date: When and where to watch Arulnithi and Ajay Gnanamuthu's horror drama

Director Ajay Gnanamuthu reunited with actor Arulnithi for 'Demonte Colony 2', and the film premiered in theaters on August 15. Despite clashing with multiple films, 'Demonte Colony 2' cemented its place strong by earning positive reviews from critics and audiences. The horror drama, which was released in Tamil, was released a week later in Telugu, and the film out performed well in both the regions. After storming theaters across locations for more than a month, 'Demonte Colony 2' is now gearing up for a digital release, and the makers have officially announced the film's OTT release date. 'Demonte Colony 2' is to stream on Zee 5 on September 27, and the film will be available in Tamil and Telugu languages.


'Demonte Colony 2' is a sequel to Ajay Gnanamuthu's previous union with Arulnithi, which also marked the director's debut film. Retaining the lead actor from the prequel, Ajay Gnanamuthu connected the sequel and prequel well, and his return to the horror genre impressed the audience well. Priya Bhavani Shankar, Archana Ravichandran, Meenakshi Govindarajan, Sarjano Khalid, and Muthu Kumar played important roles, and the film has music composed by Sam CS. 'Demonte Colony 2', which is estimated to be made on a budget of Rs 15 to 20 crore, has grossed over Rs 85 crore at the box office to emerge as a blockbuster, and the makers shared regular box office numbers to express their happiness on the film's achievement.
