Riding high on the success of ‘Kaala’, superstar
Rajinikanth is presently shooting for his forthcoming project with Karthik Subbaraj. The makers are currently filming an important schedule in Darjeeling, after which the team will head to Chennai to commence the next schedule.
According to recent reports, actor Deepak Paramesh of ‘Mercury’ fame has landed a role in the yet-untitled film. If reports are anything to go by, then this will mark Deepak’s third collaboration with Karthik Subbaraj.
To be made on a massive scale, the action-drama is being produced by Sun Pictures and also stars
Vijay Sethupathi in a pivotal role and
Bobby Simha, Sanath Reddy, Munishkanth and Megha Akash in supporting roles.
Music composer
Anirudh Ravichander will be scoring the film, which marks his first collaboration with both Rajinikanth and Karthik. Veteran singer SP Balasubrahmanyam will reportedly croon the introductory song in the much-awaited flick. The team is expected to wrap up the film by the end of this year.
