DD to do a cameo in Dhanush's film

The shoot of Dhanush's debut directional venture, Power Paandi, with Rajkiran as the lead actor is going on in full swing. While actors like Nadhiya, Prasanna, Chaya Singh are already part of this film, the latest to join the cast is television anchor Dhivyadharshini. The anchor-turned-actress, who is fondly called DD, is making a comeback on big screen after almost a decade, with this film.
A source close to the team, confirmed the news, saying, 'Dhivyadharshini will be doing a cameo in Power Paandi. Though she will be appearing on screen only for a short time, her role will be a significant one. The role she has in the film gives her a lot of scope to perform.' DD had earlier acted in films like Nala Damayanthi, Saroja, and Whistle.
