“I have been contemplating what’s next for some time now. Pudhea Paadhai is close to my heart, and I have decided to make its sequel. In fact, I will be playing the lead role in the sequel as well. The pre-production work is on now, and everything else is in the initial stage. The film will be based on today’s technology and innovation. ”

Parthiban is also working on a film on MK Thyagaraja Bhagavathar, the first superstar of Tamil cinema, and his controversial life. He tells us that he will be working on the Dark Web first because the other film needs a higher budget. “I have been researching Bhagavathar and his life and the biopic is shaping up well. But the production cost of this film is too high, and it’s difficult to start it immediately. In fact, I recently got to know that there is a museum at the Madras High Court with details of the Lakshmikanthan murder case, in which Bhagavathar was convicted. I’ve been visiting it to write a proper story,” he says.
