Dad's the way for Nakshatra

Nakshatra, who debuted in Kollywood with Doo, is currently shooting for a Kannada film. What���s interesting is that the film is being directed by none other than her father, D Rajendra Babu.
Says her mother, yesteryear actress Sumithra, ���After Doo, we weren���t quite satisfied with the offers that Nakshatra was getting in Tamil. Instead of doing films just for the sake of it, she decided to wait for a while.Meanwhile, we thought it would be good for her to act in her father���s film.���
Babu, who has directed several big Kannada films in the past, is wielding the megaphone after a while. ���More than being her father, I think of him as a talented director and it would be a learning experience for Nakshatra. She���s having fun on the sets and is also understanding the way the industry works. I���m sure this film will help her hone her skills and she will come back to Kollywood as an even better actress,��� she adds.
