D Imman's generous help to singer Nochippatti Thirumoorthy

The differently-abled Nochippatti Thirumoorthy captured the hearts of his fans with his powerful voice. Known for his unique style of singing and keeping rhythm with every song, he recently suffered a hand fracture due to an accident and expressed his fear of never being able to read again, as reported by Filmibeat. He mentioned that after surgery, a plate was placed in his hand. Upon hearing this, music director D. Imman immediately sent him money for his surgery, for which Thirumoorthy expressed deep gratitude, saying, "I will never forget this kindness."

Born in Nochippatti village in Krishnagiri district, Thirumoorthy was born blind. After his mother passed away a few years ago due to diabetes, he began singing in the village, driven by the divine gift of his voice. One of his famous songs, "Kannana Kanne" from Viswasam, composed by D Imman and featuring Ajith and Nayanthara, became a viral hit on the internet. Thirumoorthy's unique voice caught the attention of D. Imman, who sought him out through his assistant.

Later, D. Imman introduced Thirumoorthy into films with the song "Sevanthiye" in Seeru, starring Jiiva in the lead role. Subsequently, Thirumoorthy sang the superhit song "Va Sami" from the movie Annaatthe, directed by Siva and starring Rajinikanth, Keerthy Suresh, Meena, Khushbu, Sathish, and Soori. Thirumoorthy's remarkable ability to create rhythms using everyday objects, from plastic containers to traditional pots, further highlights his exceptional musical talent and versatility. His passion for music, combined with his creativity, has earned him a special place in the hearts of music lovers.
