The teaser of
CV Kumar
's '
Gangs of Madras
' has been released and the 90 second teaser gives a glimpse what to expect from the gangster drama which is said to be based on a female gangster from Chennai. The film features Ashok, Priyanka Ruth, Daniel Balaji, Velu Prabhakaran, Naren and Bagavathy Perumal in the lead roles.
The film is the second directorial of producer CV Kumar, after Maayavan, a science fiction thriller. CV Kumar has produced some critically acclaimed films like Attakathi, Pizza, Soodhu Kavvum, Mundasupatti and Enakkul Oruvan to name a few. Actor Dhanush's released the teaser of the film on his social media page.
Gangs of Madras has music for songs by Hari Dafusia, BGM by Shyamalangan with Santhosh Narayanan being the music supervisor and cinematography by Karthik Kumar.
