CS Amudhan teases Venkat Prabhu on his birthday; the former calls the director 'father of post-modern cinema'

Venkat Prabhu, the popular South director, celebrated his 47th birthday yesterday (Nov 7), and the kind director was showered with love from friends and fans. CS Amudhan, who is popular for directing the full-length spoof film 'Thamizh Padam', and the director has wished the director in a humorous way. CS Amudhan addressed Venkat Prabhu as the father of post-modern cinema.He also greeted his beloved brother as he is following the path craved by him in the cinema.

However, Venkat Prabhu hasn't replied to the fun banter started by the latter. It is worth mentioning that Venkat Prabhu was also part of CS Amudhan's shelved project 'Rendavathu Padam' and the picture shared by the latter is from the same film.
Meanwhile, Venkat Prabhu has thanked fans and friends for their lovely wishes on the special day of his life, and also wished Kamal Haasan and Anushka Shetty, who celebrate their birthday on the same day.
On the work front, Venkat Prabhu last delivered the blockbuster action thriller 'Maanaadu' starring Silambarasan and SJ Suryah in lead roles, and the film grossed over Rs 115 crores to emerge as one of the highest-grossing films. Next, Venkat Prabhu is directing a Telugu film with Naga Chaitanya in the lead role, and the shooting of the film tentatively titled 'NC 22' has been underway steadily. 'NC 22' team has also wished Venkat Prabhu with a poster from the film and shared a making video from the film.
