Confirmed: Mohan Raja to direct Andhadhun remake

Director Mohan Raja to direct the Tamil remake of the critically acclaimed Hindi movie, Andhadhun. Earlier it was reported that there is speculation that the director is roped in for the remake.
Andhadhun was directed in Hindi by Sriram Raghavan while Ayushman Khurrana played the lead in the movie. The movie bagged the best Hindi Feature film award in 66th edition of National awards.First, it was speculated that Dhanush and Siddharth are showing interest, as Prasanth’s father Thiagarajan bagged the rights of the movie, Prasanth was roped in to play the lead. Interestingly, actor Prasanth is a piano player while the leading character of the movie is also a pianist.
Director Mohan Raja’s last film, Velaikaran was released in 2017 while the director is recently play a cameo in Vijay Sethupathi’s Yadhum Oore Yavarum Kelir. Actor Prasanth has signed another movie with director A.Venkatesh which is yet to go on floor.
