Chiyaan Vikram charges Rs 25 crores for 'Cobra': Reports

Chiyaan Vikram starrer 'Cobra' is slated to release on August 31, and the reservations for the film are open now. The much-awaited film is set to open big, and the film is Vikram's one the high-budget films. Chiyaan Vikram has reportedly received a remuneration of Rs 25 crores for 'Cobra' confirmed a source close to the actor to an online portal. His salary is almost 25% of the film's budget, which is said to have been estimated at over Rs 100 crores.

'Cobra' has taken over three years to produce, and the pandemic outbreak has delayed the film's progress. The 2020 May release has finally received a release date after two years, and the film is releasing in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. 'Cobra' is going to be Chiyaan Vikram's biggest release, and the actor has built a great buzz for the film by touring across places to interact with fans to promote the film.

The interesting trailer of 'Cobra', which was released last week, has also developed a huge expectation for the film, and the holiday release of Vikram is fixed to open big at the box office. 'Cobra' is reported to be a psychological thriller, and the film also has Srinidhi Shetty, Mirnalini Ravi, Meenakshi, KS Ravikumar, Irfan Pathan, Roshan Mathew, and Robo Shankar among others, while the film's music is scored by AR Rahman.
