Chinmayi dubs for a Tamil film after a year

After a long wait of a year, singer and dubbing artiste Chinmayi finally dubbed for a Tamil film. She dubbed for Kalyani Priyadarshan in Sivakarthikeyan’s Hero. Chinmayi took to her microblogging page to share the news and also thanked the film’s director PS Mithran.
She posted, “After an uphill battle and after a year and some days - I dub in a Tamil film (Not counting Oh Baby’s dubbed version).I know how P S Mithran worked around with the Dubbing Union and Mr. Radha Ravi. Thank you, Mithran. You and the Producer are my heroes :) @Psmithran. I do hope I have done justice to your work @kalyanipriyan.. Much, much love and thank you!!” (sic)
Chinmayi was ousted from the dubbing union when the Me Too controversy rocked the film industry. She had stated that she was out of work because she had named actor Radha Ravi as one of the perpetrators, who heads the dubbing union in Tamil Nadu.
